Too amazing for the naked eye

Peppers and more peppers…

So I’m starting my peppers this week.  They take a ridiculously long time to fruit and our outdoor growing season around here isn’t nearly sufficient.  I’m planting Carribean Red Habanero, Scotch Bonnets, Bhut Jolokias, Red Savinas, and Dorset Nagas.  If they all fruit this summer I have no idea what I’ll do with all of them, but its fun to grow things.

Along those lines I have Highbush Blueberries stratifying in the fridge, pumpkins that I’m starting indoors, a little cilantro, that i’m growning just because.  I’m gonna try to grow some cotton plants, just because they look cool.  And I’m trying to germinate some acorns right now so I can try growing a bonsai white oak, at least I think its was a white oak, I’ll have to check in the spring when we head back to the golf course, which is where they were collected.
